An Unusually Personalised Travel Experience
Travelling throughout Australia most of his adult life Richard Quilty has developed a certain love for this country and for those people who live in its remote corners. By the 1980s Richard was providing an unusually personalised travel experience for small groups of family and friends - taking such groups in a large comfortable coach (2 seats for each passenger) to meet some of those people who live in these remote places and who had become Richard's friends.
Then in 1994 Richard was approached by the Tours Committee of the NSW National Trust; and through that Committee for the next 18 years he offered his personalised small group travel experience exclusively to members of the National Trust.
Whilst Richard continues to offer that travel experience to members of the National Trust he is now offering 'Quilty Tours' to other selected individuals and groups; he will continue to accompany every tour.
Aside from the striking beauty of the country through which his tours pass, it is the meetings with the friends of Richard who live in its remote corners that gives a unique human profile to every Quilty Tour.
